Before and after the first coat of varnish in the main part of the boat. I feel like this is PROGRESS! Finally!
Larry and Trinda have been sailing the Pacific and SE Asia in their Passport 45 ketch, the Katie Lee for 19 years.

Trinda's Birthday
The wives and boat girls got together and did the shopping and cooking for a feast for Trinda's birthday.
About 30 folks came for the free food. There were beverages available too. I invited all the workers to stay for supper too.

A few days ago they finished the white paint. Now have just finished masking it off to start spraying the varnish.

Boat Progress
I usually have lunch here with Evo and Boy. I'm probably their best customer, cause I eat more than the kids from the mango plant. An Average lunch is 2 small pork chops in some sauce that I pour over the rice, pancit (stir-fried glass noodles with a few odd vegetables and pork fat), long Japanese green beans, something called chop-chop which is stir-fried veggies in a thick brown sauce ( eggplant, carrot, cabbage, zucchini, bitter-melon, squash, onion, ginger and some I don't recognize).
The mounts for the LED recessed ceiling light fixtures finished.
The aft cabin is shinny and white.
Rico on the front deck re-installing the hardware. Its high tide so it looks high and full.
Louie finish sanding and masking the settee just before painting the white. It has three coats of white epoxy primer as of this afternoon.
Obviously we are NOT moving back to the boat next week, so we paid for Aug rent and bought a table an a stool. Now we have that and one chair for furniture! Oh and another fan. It has been HOT here.
